Additional Information

Albert B. Wenzell, Jr. graduated from Princeton University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Certificate in Latin American Studies. He then went on to spend four years in the United States Navy. Wenezell received his Law degree in December 1976 from the University of San Francisco.

Wenzell started working for St. Clair, Zappettini, McFetridge & Griffin in San Francisco in December 1977 until May 1994. He then worked in San Jose at Simoncini & Wenzell from June 1994 to May 1997. In June 1997 he started working with Greene, Chauvel, Descalso & Tully in San Mateo, Calif. He practice with the firm until November 2002, when he formed The Wenzell Law Group.

From 1977 to the present Wenzell has litigated matters in the following areas: Products Liability, Professional Malpractice, Construction/Industrial Accidents, Premises Liability, Business Litigation, Wrongful Termination, Public Entity Defense, Landlord Tenant, Civil Rights Violations, Personal Injury, Lemon Law Litigation and Insurance and Coverage Disputes.

Wenzell has extensive experience in mediating settlements of disputes both as an advocate and a mediator in California Superior Courts and in Federal Court. He has participated as a panelist in the Bar Association of San Francisco Early Settlement Program, the EEOC Mediation Program, the BASF Mediation Program and the San Mateo County Superior Court Arbitration Program. At present he is a panelist on the following ADR panels: RCBA Dispute Resolution Service, Inc., the Orange County Superior Court, the San Diego Superior Court, the Santa Clara Superior Court and Alameda Superior Court.

His experience in litigation has prepared him for all types of mediations. He has mediated a variety of cases in the areas of employment, management, real estate, neighbor disputes, boundary disputes, landlord/tenant, commercial, business, personal injury and insurance.

His goal is to provide mediation services dedicated to resolution. Wenzell provides guidance and he helps individuals and businesses in dealing with conflict. His approach is to not only resolve disputes but to also restore relationships.

Wenzell lived in Chile until he was 10 years old. He is fluent in Spanish.
