Additional Information

Laura C. Rosauer has been an attorney for over 16 years. Her extensive career has included experience practicing both family law and criminal law. Formerly a Deputy District Attorney for Riverside County for over six years, Rosauer’s experience, particularly in the domestic violence, juvenile and sexual assault/child abuse units, has given her unique insight into family dynamics and domestic violence issues.

Rosauer has been practicing family law exclusively since 2004, including: divorce, paternity, custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, property and debt division, contempts and restraining orders. She has extensive knowledge in all aspects of family law and was a Professor of Community Property at California Southern Law School. Rosauer was a past co-chair of the Family Law Section of the Riverside County Bar Association (RCBA). She speaks frequently to other attorneys at the RCBA, and also serves as a fee arbitrator and a mentor attorney to other attorneys.

Notwithstanding her extensive experience litigating cases in court, Rosauer appreciates the benefits of mediation. Couples save time, money and dignity by choosing to solve their problems through mediation instead of court litigation. Rosauer has been a certified mediator since 1995. In addition, she has received advanced training solely on the mediation of family law cases.

Rosauer has successfully used mediation to help parties reach solutions in all aspects of family law cases. Whether the parties have not yet filed for divorce, want to resolve their case without going to court or have litigated in court and want to resolve their matters without further court litigation, she is dedicated to helping parties explore their options, make informed decisions and reach solutions.
